IMPORTANT: This year's workshops will be held at SUNY Plattsburgh in Sibley Hall.
Directions: From Vermont--Proceed to Rte. 9. Turn left at intersection with Rte. 9. At Georgia Pacific turn right onto Boynton Ave. Go to 4th light (Prospect Ave.) At the end of Prospect Ave. Sibley Hall will be straight ahead. Take a left and a quick right into the parking lot. Follow the signs to the workshop.
From Rte. 87. Take Rte. 3 Exit. Proceed down Rte. 3 toward downtown until you get to Burger King (on right). Veer right at the fork in the road. The next light is Prospect Ave. Turn right and follow above directions.

The Northern Lights Chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association is a professional organization of music and movement educators from Northern New York and Vermont dedicated to the creative teaching approach developed by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman. We are joined by our belief that learning about music - learning to sing and play, to hear and understand, to move and create - should be an active and joyful experience.
Our mission is:
To demonstrate the value of Orff Schulwerk and promote its widespread use.
To support the professional development of our members with workshops throughout the year.
To provide a forum for the continued growth and development of Orff Schulwerk that reflects the diversity in contemporary American society.
